💡 I have always had an appreciation for design and technology.
🐇 🕳️ After coming across UX design and going down the rabbit hole to really understand this field, I made the firm decision in 2021 to transition into UX after working for a decade as a Line Chef in the restaurant industry.
🧑🏾🍳 My time in the service industry allowed me to develop a user-centric mindset and expertise in crafting experiences tailored to customer and business needs. Working directly with guests honed my skills in empathy, communication, collaboration, and delivering exceptional service—especially during high-pressure situations.
👩🏾💻 As a UX Designer, I am consistently striving to stay humble, curious, respectful, and improve and evolve my research and design skills. Behind every UX practitioner is an individual with other interests outside of work. I enjoy cooking, baking, hiking and spending time with friends and family.
